Story
23.08.20 |
We, mother and daughter team of Mary (cello) and Penelope (violin), often play duets together. We have devised a fun way to share musical moments in the great outdoors for the benefit of others. What more could you ask for..?
As a family we have always loved learning, sharing and creating music. All of us have been fortunate enough to have instrumental lessons and appreciate the lifelong gift of making and sharing music with others. By raising money for "Music for All" we can help other people experience the joy of making music together.
We will be playing 7 different pieces, in 7 days on 7 different hills in the beautiful county of Shropshire, England, at the end of August. We hope to raise at least £777.77.
We'll post details of what, where and when we'll be playing. If you're in the area, come for a short (socially distanced) concert in the beautiful outdoors. Links to our perfomances will be updated on our page as and when they happen.
We hope you're feeling generous and enjoy our endeavour to help such a worthy cause.
Thank you

Day 7, 7 in 7 on 7 - It was surprisingly fine at the top although there was a cold wind blowing and the temperature was only about 10 degrees.
Here is the link for 'The hills are alive' from the sound of music that we performed to the resident wildlife and family
