7 determined auditors from the RSM Preston office are taking on the challenge to walk the National 3 peaks across 3 days, 16-18th September 2023. Switching our desk chairs to dusty walking boots has taken lots of practise and planning to prepare ourselves for the challenge.

Lancashire Mind plays a vital part in the lives of so many within our local Preston community and we believe that raising money for this cause will make a real difference to those using the services within our local office area.

We will be sure to post many updates and progress messages across social media and the Just Giving page to show our supporters how we are getting on throughout the challenge. We really appreciate your generosity - let's reach £1,500!

We’re committed to giving back and making a difference to our local communities which is why we’re taking part in the RSM Together challenge.

RSM Together is an initiative that gives our people the
opportunity to give back locally. It’s something we feel very passionately
about at RSM which is why the RSM UK Foundation will offer funding of £100,000 split between offices. The offices that
raise the most money will receive the largest proportion of the £100,000 funding pot.

The funding structure for how the money will be allocated is below.

We’d love to see Preston secure a sizeable donation for our chosen charity, and of course beat the other offices to one of the top spots in the league table!

About the charity: Lancashire Mind see a future where everyone in Lancashire understands their mental health and wellbeing, see it as important as physical health and know how to look after it. They believe that only a universal approach, which gets everyone talking about and understanding mental health, will result in the achievement of Mental Wellbeing for All. They do this by working with people of all ages to build resilience, wellbeing and knowledge of mental health, Supporting people who are experiencing barriers to achieving good mental health and Helping people to achieve and maintain recovery from poor mental health.

They also provide housing and support for people with a mental health condition to return to independent living.

Funding and fundraising

Our office fundraising target for 2023 is £5,820, which equates to £30 per head. Through the 7 Auditors - 3 Peaks Challenge, we have set a target of raising £700 towards this office total.
