4 Pump Court are undertaking the 2.6 Challenge to help support Harrison's Fund and KidsOut.
26 barristers and staff will complete 26 activities, all with a theme of 2.6 or 26. Our activities range from a marathon (to be completed over 4 days in order to fit in with current restrictions) to a 26mile erg, 26 exercises from Hanon to 26 prescriptions to be delivered to 26 vulnerable people. We even have one member of chambers who will be completing a 26km row in a pinstripe suit! the full list of activities can be found below.
This is the fundraising page for Harrison's Fund. Harrison's Fund has been established by a family seeking to raise money to fund research in to potential treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, following the diagnosis of their son.

1) Marathon (to be completed over 4 days)
2) 26 mile bike ride split in 2 (to take account of restrictions on outdoor exercise) - our Senior Clerks will both be participating in this (separately of course!)
3) 26 mile erg - we have 2 individuals undertaking this challenge
4) 26 km walk - 2 members of chambers will be taking their dogs out (separately) for a 26km stroll between now and 3rd May
5) 2.6 hours of core exercises between now and 3rd May
6) 26 times up and down the stairs – which totals 2,390 stairs!
7) 26 exercises from Hanon
8) 26 spring photographs
9) 26 prescriptions delivered to 26 vulnerable people
10) 2.6 km run with children to be done by two separate families
11) 26 km run shared and/or split - 3 members of chambers will be running 26km between now and 3rd May
12) 26 burpees
13) 26 cookies to be cooked with children
14) 26km row in a pinstripe suit
15) 26 football kick ups
16) 26 bedtime stories to be read to a baby
17) 26 cupcakes to be baked
18) 26 squats in 2.6 minutes holding children in their arms!
19) 26 minutes of continuous jumping on a trampoline
20) 26 reps of a series of exercises carrying a combined weight of 2.6 stone (made up of daughter and a kettlebell!)
21) 2.6 times climbing the North Face of Gipsy Hill
22) 26km turbo session
23) Learn the alphabet in sign language
24) Cook 26 pretzels
25) Dig 26 weeds up in the garden
