The 4 of us are going to cycle 500km each in June! All for a bit of fun, as well as to raise some money for Meal a Day! Any donations small or large would be greatly appreciated! We will post updates as to how far we’ve got! Thanks so much for checking out the page!  

While the number of Coronavirus cases in Africa are currently very low, there is significant concern that if the virus does spreads there, people in rural areas and the poorest urban areas (the places where CMaD UK typically operates) won’t have access to the necessary sanitation, hygiene and health services to recover. They don’t have the luxury to socially distance themselves as many of them live in tightly packed slums. Nor do they have the option to stock the fridge with a weekly shop. Further, up to three quarters of people living in rural parts of these countries do not have hand-washing facilities at home. Many of the orphanages we work with have been shut down by the government leaving the kids with very few options of where to go. We feel compelled to help and hope you will support us in our efforts to raise money to combat the issues and growing fear that our brothers and sisters in Africa are experiencing.
