I will be running a minimum distance of one mile every day throughout 2016 in aid of The Children's Society.

The Children's Society is a national charity that runs local projects, helping children and young people when they are their most vulnerable, and have nowhere left to turn.

It is a painful fact that many children and young adults in Britain today are still suffering extreme hardship, abuse and neglect. Too often their problems are ignored and their voices unheard.

The Children's Society vision is "A country where children are free from disadvantage" and their mission is to "fight for change, supporting disadvantage children to have better lives." I want to help this charity fight this awful crisis by raising money for these poor children who do not deserve this.

I am hoping to be running various fun races throughout the year to encourage others to run with me and support this amazing and hard working charity. I will post more about this on my Facebook page nearer to the time of the running events.
