We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

Andy, Will, Osmaan and Tom are running/walking/limping 250km across the Sahara Desert in April 2014.

They will carry their kit and food. They are mad.

We are doing it for 2 charities. On this page you can sponsor us, by donating to Parkinson's UK.

About 2 years ago Andy's Mum was diagnosed with Parkinsons.

Parkinson's disease affects about 10 million people worldwide.  It is a chronic and progressive movement disorder, meaning that symptoms continue and worsen over time. The cause is unknown, and there is presently no cure.  Parkinson’s involves the malfunction and death of vital nerve cells in the brain, called neurons.

It's pretty nasty and the more we know about it the more likely they'll find better treatments and - ideally - a cure!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
