Story
On the 24th of April 2020, Shrewsbury Town in the Community (STITC) will be hosting their first ever 24 Hour Football Match. STITC's two inclusive sport officers (Scott Guilbert and Mark Bull) will go head to head playing for the entire 24 hours captaining the two teams.
The aim of the event is to help raise funds for STITC's inclusive sport projects which make a massive impact to the local community. These projects range from ShrewsAbility, STITC's specialised disability sessions, PAN football and Development and coordination disorder (DCD).
In order for the event to be a success, we are asking people from the local community to get involved playing for either team to support the event. If you would be interested in registering a team or playing as an individual please visit: http://www.shrewsburytowninthecommunity.com/events/24-hour-football-match/?fbclid=IwAR2Xi0LIFClCKLO-omd_pfBcU6tJUh1vqek6SO78AbJ4u5FIWuuqT0RbukM
You don't have to play to make a donation! If you want to be part of the event and donate you can do so through this page. All donations are for a good cause and will be used to help the local community achieve their goals and reach their potential!!
