In celebration of SLA's 21st birthday I'm taking part in the '21 for 21' challenge and have chosen to do 21 sun salutations (a traditional series of yoga postures) every day for 21 days
SLA supports grassroot partner organisations in India which do amazing work in transforming the live of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the world.
Asritha Rainbow Home rescues girls from the streets of Hyderabad, rehabilitating them and enabling them to take up their education with more than 80% of girls graduating from high school.
Voice4Girls run educational camps for adolescent girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, teaching them their rights to stay in education, not marry young, understand their bodies and take control of their lives. Voice empowers these girls and encourages their families and communities to safeguard their rights.
