MCS 5th Form of 2020: Bursary Fund Contribution · 18 April 2020

We educate young people to learn, to flourish and to serve.

Story

We've just had our GCSE examinations cancelled.  Suddenly the year feels different and soon at an end.  Coronavirus has changed our lives, perhaps forever.  We carry with us the privilege of an MCS education, with relaxed friendships for life and memorable teachers.  We each know what the family and financial support it’s taken and taking for most of us to be here.

At the same time, coronavirus is causing most havoc for those who are vulnerable and/or impoverished.  More than ever before, it feels important for MCS students to be representative of society, to be from all walks of life, to enable us to learn from one another, build friendships with different people, and foster more understanding and collaboration.

We - the MCS 5th form of 2020 - wish to do our part through this Bursary Fund contribution, widening the doors to an MCS education, and enabling meritocratic access.
