Matt and Jason: 2,020 miles
(and smiles) in 2020!
Are you Team Oldman or Newman? Support your colleagues in our most ambitious fundraising initiative to date!
It’s the grudge match you’ve all been waiting for…Masthaven’s Jason ‘Old Man’ Finch and Matt ‘Relatively Young Man’ Newman had finally decided to settle their long-running differences over LTV, credit risk flows, DPR permissions, change requests and more by, er, running a whopping 2,020 miles this year to raise a mammoth £20,200 for Spread a Smile!
(The year’s 2020, 20,200 quid, run 2,020 miles – we can see what you’ve done there, lads! MARKETING IDEA OF THE YEAR ©)
What are Matt and Jason doing?
This year, our dynamic duo will be running a combined 2,020 miles! They’ll do it by taking part in some well-known running events (details of which will be released later) as well as their own personal events and training runs. Not to mention lots of other fun events throughout the year, including a five-a-side tournament, table tennis matches and lots more!
Why on earth would they do that?!
To raise money – £20,200 no less – for our charity partner, Spread a Smile. We’ve all seen the great work they do, but in a nutshell: the charity’s mission is to brighten the days of seriously ill children and teenagers in hospital by taking teams of entertainers and therapy dogs into wards at hospitals including Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College Hospital. The aim: to give seriously ill young people lasting and positive memories at a time of great difficulty.
How can I get involved?
You’ve got a tricky choice to make: are you team Oldman or Newman? We want you to decide whose team you’re on and make a minimum donation of £5 – in return you’ll get a branded flag you can place with pride on your desk, their unconditional love (and doughnuts, maybe?) and the knowledge you’re doing something great for a really important charity. Just don’t start any arguments with folk who don’t support your guy, y’hear?
So…are you with Oldman or Newman? Get behind your colleagues in what is Masthaven’s most ambitious fundraising initiative to date – and help put some smiles on children’s faces.
