We support Addenbrooke's and the Rosie to change patients' lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Grantchester Charity Runs 2016 JustGiving page.

This year we are again working with the Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT)

ACT are pioneering the first UK diabetes camps for children aged between 8-12 who are newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The camps will enable the young people to learn how to manage their diabetes properly, understand that they can live life to the full and meet other children who too have type 1 diabetes. These camps are run by the Weston Centre at Addenbrooke’s.

Please help us reach this truly noble goal!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. About the charity

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
