Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I am making making Christmas Cakes with you all, over Zoom, to help raise money for Friends of Serenity. This charity is close to my heart and helped support Helen when she lost John and Alex but also at the arrival of her rainbow baby Arthur.  To help them continue their excellent work, I am asking people to donate in order to make their Christmas Cake.  If you can donate, then please keep your donation anonymous.

Thank you for your support and enjoy making your cakes.  Merry Christmas xx

P.S.

If you would like raffle tickets, they are £1 a ticket. Please pay for your tickets the same way as the cake donations but add your name this time. Thanks

About the charity

Friends of Serenity

RCN 1157866
Friends of Serenity aims to preserve and protect the health of sick pregnant women and those who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death in particular but not exclusively by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, Serenity Suites and equipment at East Lancashire Women and New Born Centre not normally provided by the statutory authorities. We work hard to support newly bereaved parents through the provision of memory boxes and miscarriage keepsakes. By dressing their babies we hope to make distressing and devastating time a little more comforting by taking the pressure off them. These are provided in East Lancashire and throughout the country on public requirement. Additionally, we strive to provide qualified information by any means appropriate on the 2nd most common chromosome disorder Trisomy 13.
