We are 12th Cambridge Scout Troop in the UK and this is The Sun Run, our annual charity extravaganza!

On the night of 25/26 June a bunch of scout aged 10-14 and their leaders will set off from Copley scout campsite near St Ives on the dot of sun set to run, walk, crawl or whatever it takes to get back to our HQ in Cambridge. A distance of 22KM. The aim is to race against the sun, getting to the finish line before sun rise on Sunday morning.

The scouts themselves selected Cancer Research UK as their chosen charity this year. Several of them have had friends or family with cancer and are doing what they can to raise much needed funds to combat this disease.
