Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this Just Giving page

Cold water shock activates the bodies fight or flight response and the protecting mind will do everything it can to get you out of there… it’s too cold….. I could die….,. I just don’t do cold….  Etc etc

Using the breath and the natural survival ability of the body without the interference of the  protecting mind during, cold water immersion demonstrates the body is far more resilient than the mind projects.

The fight or flight syndrome is like a button which is pressed automatically by the mind in the even for the some of the most insignificant events.    This leads to poor mental health  and associated illnesses- eg anxiety and depression

Regular cold water practice will make you less trigger happy able to choose what you want to think and act on.

Having suffered from mental health issues for most of my adult life through PTSD and ADHD, I have been on most prescribed meds and tried most alternative therapies looking to heal and find balance to no avail.

Cold water has basically changed my life.  It is a simple process that anyone can follow and engage in
