Bismillah....

For the last 10 days of Ramadhan I have made a pledge to raise funds to sponsor 200 Orphans for a whole year in 9 countries across the world, including: Kashmir, Lebanon, Palestine, Pakistan,Turkey, Somalia and Yemen.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be in Paradise like these two” – and he gestured with his forefinger and middle finger, holding them close together (Bukhari).

There are an estimated 153 million orphaned children around the world and tragically around 5,700 more children become orphans, every day. As the most vulnerable members of society, they often face hunger, disease, exploitation including psychosocial distress, child labour, child marriage and extreme cycles of poverty they will never break out of. 

For £420 ($800), an Orphan can be looked after for a whole year from this Ramadhan to the next, providing: food, water, shelter, healthcare and education.

For just £70 ($133), an Orphan can be looked after for two months providing: food, water, shelter, healthcare and education. 

For just £35 ($67), an Orphan can be looked after for one month providing: food, water, shelter, healthcare and education. 

Follow the footsteps of the Messenger (PBUH), and care for the most vulnerable children among us and reap the blessings in the hereafter. 

Now is the time to change the world for a little one.
