On the 17th March our beloved Ellie passed away due to cancer. She spent her last 8 weeks at the Weldmar Hospice in Dorchester where she was looked after with dignity and care. She was 43 and left behind her beautiful daughters Daisy & Poppy.

To show their appreciation to all the staff at Weldmar who looked after their Mummy so well, they have decided to raise some money with their '100k in May' Challenge. They will accumulate the kilometers by a combination of runs and walks. These exercises will be recorded via Strava and uploaded to this site so everyone can see their progress. They felt this was a fitting fundraiser to accomplish what with the current lock down, and exercise being so important to our health. Ellie was also a keen runner.
The Weldmar Hospice in Dorchester provides specialist end of life care for people living in Dorset. All of their services are free and they rely heavily on donations, and sales via their Charity shops within Dorset. As these are obviously all closed due to Covid-19 they are in need of as many donations as possible, so please give generously for a great cause.
In addition, Ellie's 'Colmer's Hill' greetings card, which she donated to Weldmar, is now available to buy direct from their Online Shop:

Thank you for your donations and make sure to check back to see the girl's progress.
