£1 Challenge · 17 March 2019

We are a UK based international disabled people's organisation, comprising a membership of individuals and organisations from all over the world, committed to improving quality of life for people with Down syndrome, promoting their right to be included on a full and equal basis with others.

Story

On Saturday 16th March I gave my son Logan a challenge to balance a £1 coin on his head, lie down and then stand back up all without using his hands to see if he could do it without it falling off.

Upon completing it Logan thought it would be a fun challenge to help raise funds for Down Syndrome International as its World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st March.  His brother Brody said it would be cool if we could raise £1 million pounds. Logan said "impossible'. I say we get the challenge going and show him how amazing social media can really be.
