Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last time I ran a Marathon in London in 2003, my dad was there to cheer me on. Later that year he was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Despite his diagnosis he refused to let the disease beat him and lived a full life until the summer of 2010 when the final battle began and he pased away in his adpoted hometown of Liverpool on October 17th 2010.
I never thought I would run another marathon until Liverpool reinstated the event. I want to raise funds to help fight the disease which claimed my father and take a few (thousand) steps closer to the day when this disease will be beaten.
