We fund new projects, buildings & equipment to make a difference for patients

Story

Yeovil Hospital needs to raise £100,000 to buy and install a second CT scanner. A CT scanner is a critical piece of equipment in a whole range of situations. They are used for patients of all ages and are particularly critical for stroke patients, cancer patients and patients who have suffered a major trauma. Having a second scanner will allow us to work more efficiently and scan people faster, especially in an emergency. The current scanner has to be serviced every few weeks so having a second scanner will mean there is no down-time when scans are not available. CT scanners are hugely expensive and although we have some funding in place, we need another £100,000.
