Story

Welcome to Emma, Christina and Sara's JustGiving page.

Many of you were so supportive last year when a group of us undertook our triathlon challenge as part of 'The Year of the Yes' and in memory of our lovely friend Lou.

But every year is a year of the yes (www.yearoftheyes.com), and every day is the opportunity to try new challenges and push ourselves. Which is why the three of us (with some other lovely friends along the way) are running the Silverstone half marathon in March.

As with previous Year of the Yes activities, we are raising money for the NCCU (Neuro Critical Care Unit) at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, in honour of Lou who received excellent care there before she sadly passed away on 29th January 2013.

Anything you can give is very much appreciated and really spurs us on.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
