Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page which is for my year of fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Now I'm working towards the grand finale! World's Biggest Coffee Morning in Stony Stratford on Saturday 29 Sept.
I'm hoping to raise £1000 from the Coffee Morning so please think about ways you can help make the day a success. Although cash donations are of course very welcome, you could also help by washing up, donating a tombola prize or encouraging friends to come to the event, for example. Go on, you know you want to!
My year of fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support started on 30th Sept 2011, with the World's Biggest Coffee Morning and finishes with Coffee Morning this year. Although I'm fairly sure I'll carry on with supporting Macmillan one way or another.
Fundraising target revised: Originally I set the fundraising target as £1000 but having gone well over that in less than half a year I've moved the goal posts a couple of times since!
Since receiving my cancer diagnosis last June, I have blogged on the Macmillan website and been impressed by the amount of support available there - especially with the on-line community. Having gone through radiotherapy, surgery and chemotherapy I'm now ready to give something back and enjoy life at the same time.
Thanks for all the support you've shown me so far. Here is a summary of what we've been up to and how much it has raised.
