Yateley Hockey Club has an ever expanding Junior Section and this includes our minis section.  The youngest players are 4 and go through to age 10.  On a Sunday morning we have over 70 children training with us and they are the future of the club. 

However, as of Summer 2014 we lost our pitch to play and train on.  It is vital for their hockey and sporting future and for the future of the club that we get a pitch to play on.  YHC has fantastic plans in place to build our very own pitch but we need to raise a significant sum of money.   This is where our brilliant children with all their enthusiasm come in!  They will be running the 2k YHC Fun Run on the 1st March and some will also be running an impressive 2.8k at the Reading Green Park Challenge on 22nd March so they can raise funds for the new pitch.  Please support their efforts; 2k & 2.8k is a long way for anyone to run let alone with little legs!

Parents and coaches are also running the 10k and also Ruth & James Sealey are running the Reading half-marathon on 22nd March!
