The the links on this page are for the candidates for this years (X)mas Factor competition to find Mencap's Santa for 2007!

The rules of the competition are simple: They have to persuade as many friends and colleagues as they can that they will be the perfect Mencap Santa, and ask them to make a small a contribution to Mencap via this web page to show their support.  The candidate who raises the most cash will be given the most prestigious title of Mencap Santa 2007!

In order to persuade you that they would be the perfect Santa they have been asked to answer 3 questions.

1. Why does Mencap need its very own Santa?
2. What special qualities do you have that would make you the perfect Santa for 2007
3. Santa is responsible for upholding the magic and spirit of Christmas. If you could grant the Mencap community one wish, what would it be?
