We are making a difference to the lives and careers of musicians.

Story

Dear Friends and Family,

WorldService Project (WSP) are collectively running the Run To The Beat Half-Marathon, 25/9/2011, raising money for the Musicians Benevolent Fund (MBF).

This charity does incredible work for the sake of musicians and music itself: "The Fund has worked with musicians of all ages, helping them when they need it for 90 years. It can help musicians through serious illness, accident or emotional breakdown. It also cares for those who need help as they grow older and supports talented young musicians at the start of their careers."

As you might know WSP won the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award 2010, which is administered by the MBF and is making a significant contribution to our career by helping us to run a collaborative project with Norwegian band SynKoke; and so we feel that we'd like to give something back to MBF and all the people that they help.

With thanks,

Dave, Tim, Raph, Conor and Neil.
