Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Raising money for Hannah Francis' charity Willberry Wonder Pony is the main aim, so many more young riders affected by bone cancer, like Hannah, can get the help and support they need. So please donate towards this and to see me make a pig's ear of a BE 80 one day event next autumn.

I gave up jumping in 1996 when, pregnant with my first child, I found myself astride a young horse wedged over a brush fence - front feet one side, hinds the other and thought 'this has to stop' and stop it did for 20 years.

Five children later I have a budding eventer in the family (my 11 yr old daughter Kitty) and her exploits with her cute 13h Connemara pony have reawakened the old beast and I think I wouldn't mind giving that a go again!

Dressage and polework are the closest I have got to eventing in the last 20 years and I have no idea if I will wobble and fall off or wobble and take off, but this challenge is the perfect way to find out. I am enlisting the help of my good friend's 15.2 Connemara Rocky, who i know will hold my hand admirably. He had better do as it was said good friend's idea to do this in the first place, Nicky Tollafield.
