Story
On Sunday the 6th of May, my girlfriend Sarah Bibby and I will undertake the challenge of teaching a select group of windsurf novices, through the progression from the first steps on a windsurf board to full speed planing on modern freeride kit.
For anyone who has every tried windsurfing you will surely understand quite how tough this challenge is!
All the competitors have no windsurf knowledge and will be completely thrown in at the deep end!
If you think these (windsurf) zero's will become hero's then please dig out some change in your pockets and donate to Windsurfing4Cancer!
Since last years event cancer has taken from us my best mates step mum and one of my good friends from South Wales, Matthew Walklin. Both were truly exceptional people who we all miss dearly everyday. Matthew's Dad runs the centre at which the challenge will be held and his drive and enthusiasm for the Windsurf4Cancer charity has made the Llandegfedd event what it is today.
Please feel free to show your support of both his and my best friends families during this tough time by either donating below and/or coming along to the sunrise-to-sunset windsurf and bbq day on the 6th of May!
At last years event Sarah and I raced the distance of the London Marathon and managed to raise around £300 so let's see if we can beat it this year!
Thanks for taking the time to read this and fingers crossed it will be windy!
