We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

My brother and I and my friend Paul are planning to cycle around the island of Sjælland in Denmark (around 260 miles) over the period of 5 days in September 2012, to support the Leukaemia and Lymphoma research charity.

Blood cancer has affected my family, firstly taking my Grandad's life with CML, then my Gran with Lymphoma, now my 3 year old son William has AML TYPE M7. He was first diagnosed in Feb 2011 and was treated with Chemotherapy at the Royal Marsden in Sutton until June 2011. Unfortunately he relapsed over Xmas. He has since had 3 courses of Chemotherapy again at the Marsden Sutton and is due a bone marrow transplant in April/ May 2012. Though I wish I could cure this horrible disease, I know this is beyond me, though I can support the people who can make a difference with financial support. Please support me in my quest to help find a cure for this horrendous disease in the only way we can - with a donation to a leading charity.
