Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The completion of a 24 hour challenge became a tradition at Guthlaxton College. So this year, as Wigston College, we want to continue this tradition.
This year we have decided to put a different twist to the challenge. A former student, Chris Mark is currently Cycling from Alaska to Argentina, in aid of Wishes for Kids. We have therefore decided to use cycling as the centre of our challenge, and raise money both for Sport Relief and Wishes for Kids.
We are looking to keep up to 4 spin bikes working for 24 hours, starting at 12.30 on Thursday 17th March and finishing on Friday 18th March at 12.30. All members of the PE faculty are involved, along with many members of staff and students.
If you wish to support our challenge there are a number of ways:
Donate at: www.justgiving.com/wigstoncollege
Text donations to: WCPE99 and the amount £1, £2, £3, £5, £10 to 70070
These are to donate to Sport Relief. If you would like to donate to Chris and Wishes for Kids then you can use:
Keep up to date with everything on WigstonCollegePE twitter and on the WebCam that will be streaming live for 24 hours (link to follow).
Thanks,
The PE Faculty!
