We made it through day 1 of lejog despite the rain, snow, sleet, fog and ice! We had no rally trip or fuel gauge, but reached Llangollen at 4am! Just received interim results running 17th overall and 3rd in class but that could all change today! X x

On December 1st 2012, The Whyte Sisters, Seren (23) and Elise (21) are going to tackle LeJog, A Lands End to John O Groats classic car rally. They will be competing in a classic 1964 mini cooper s. Having never driven a classic car or competed in a competive driving event, the outcome should be very interesting.
Considered by many as the toughest event of its kind in Europe, the customary severe wintry weather that hits the UK in December is always at hand to prove Le Jog worthy of it's reputation. The Whyte Sister’s will be the youngest female crew to compete ever, are they mad! 1,552 miles in just 3 and a half days it's Land's End to John O Groats the hard way, mainly on B roads and completing driving tests along the way.
As an all female team we are raising money for The Pink Ribbon foundation, a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment.

Their progress will be filmed and streamed live to the internet where you will be able to find out how the girls are handling the tests and regularities of the hardest event in Europe.
