Alice House Hospice exists to ensure people affected by a life limiting illness or the death of a loved one have the care, comfort and support they need. As the only adult Hospice in Hartlepool & East Durham, our services make a difference to the lives of thousands of families each year.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
The work of the Hospice is well documented, but it was not until I had first hand experience of the care and support it offers to family and friends as well as the highest level of dedication from its staff to those in their care that I realised just how important the Hospice is.  They looked after my dad.

I am trying to raise £1000 by walking the White Rose Challenge from The car park at the foot of the White Horse at Kilburn to the pub in the village at the foot of Roseberry Topping, a distance of approx 34 miles.  I am being joined by fellow fundraisers Graeme Haran and Philip Gooding in attemting this in 12 hrs

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hartlepool and District Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
