Story

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Wheel Men Just Giving page.
We are a group of enthusiastic racing simulator drivers who have come together through varied networks of interest.
Dan Marshall, Kane Alexander, Nathan Horton, Stu Neale, Thomas Blandford & Derek Neale have grown close and grown strong as a team, and we discovered that when we come together, competition drives us! (no pun intended) Hehe.
We all have various experience of Trackdays/ Karting/ Racing/ Online Racing and competed in this event in 2017 as a team of five and raising over £1000 to Children In Need. We regularly compete against each other online and due to this we have set a high standard for ourselves and are aiming for a podium position despite what looks like some very experienced competition at this event!
The 24hr race is being held at the Race Centre in Chandlers Ford where 10 teams will be pitted against each other to endure a gruelling 24-hour race all in the name of the Children In Need charity. We’ve put £300 in ourselves to make this happen and would like your help to raise a further £500.
We will be tested and pushed, stretching our skill level and fighting fatigue with bouts of stamina draining concentration. Switching drivers during pit stops whilst our graphical pit team replace the tyres and refill the tank, this is our only option to efficiently undertake the entire 24 hours without an impact on race progress.
The Race starts on Friday 16th November at 1pm and runs straight through until 1pm on the Saturday 17th November.
Looking back over our childhoods we collectively agreed that we undoubtedly received the best support and freedom from an upbringing embraced with love and the ability to just be a kid. Our childhoods we experienced had no further negative impacts on our future growing up into young men and thereon....
So to reach out to the children in need of love and support and with hopes of helping towards a brighter future for any of the less fortunate children, we have taken on a tough and exciting challenge and are begging for your support.
Think of the children, because we are.
We are aiming to raise £500 for Children In Need and we need your help to reach this target. Please give whatever you can to aid us in this great cause and help those in need.

Thank you for your love.

Regards

Wheel Men.
