Story

Hi All,

Decided it was time to put myself through some pain in the name of a good cause. I'm going to try and bike trek almost the full length of the West Country from Bristol centre right down to Land's End. Thats approximately a 340mile route in just 10 days, carrying supplies plus tent and camping gear.

This foolhardy endeavour is in order to raise money for The National Society for Epilepsy. My sister has suffered from epilepsy for many years and The NSE were very supportive and helpful providing lots of information and counselling for our whole family. As well as this they are involved in the research of diagnosis, treatment and care of the sufferers. I'd like to think the NSE will be able to run for a long time to come and support the many other people and their families that suffer from this condition.

Any support you can give is greatly appreciated and will be the motivation for me to drag my weary carcass all the way to the end of the trek

I will be keeping a trek diary at http://gebbly.blogspot.com/

-- If you would prefer to donate an amount per mile/km just let me know and I will inform everybody of the exact distance covered once I return. --
