Story
Thanks for visiting my fund raising page!
The Cause:
One in four known preganancies results in miscarriage, and although it is such a common occurence when it happens to you it a scary and lonely experience. Kez and I call it the secret society, once we started telling people what had happened to us it was only then did we realise how many people are affected by the loss of a baby during pregnancy. It was from here we found The Miscarriage Association.
The Route
I'm cycling from Bilston to Aberdyfi (Aberdovey) on May 30th 2009 to raise sponsorship for the charity. The route will take me through Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Welshpool to the base of Snowdonia and finally climb up to Aberdyfi on the Welsh coast. It is a total of 110 miles.
Please sponsor me! Anything you can spare will help.
£5.00 can pay for a pack of 5 information leaflets on miscarriage
£100 can pay for the training of a new support volunteer
£250 can pay for a training session for GP's or hospital doctors.
Your support will mean such a lot - thank you
