Story
- 2013: We traveled to the Pyrenees mountains and climbed to the Brèche de Roland 9'800 feet in the air, raising £800 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and After Adoption. A challenging climb across snow covered paths, sheer drops and scorching heat.
- 2014: August we climbed Mount Toubkal. The highest mountain in North Africa standing at an incredible 14'000 feet. I raised £250 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. I also raised £251 for Combat Stress, the UK's leading charity that specializes in the treatment and support of British Armed Forces Veterans who have mental health problems. Toubkal was a huge challenge battling against the African summer and nauseating heights of the mountain.
- 2016: This year we aim to go one better - taking on the wildest mountains the whole of Europe - The Carpathians - bordering onto Transylvania. Home to Europes largest population of wild bears, wolves and poisonous snakes to name but a few. The Transylvanian mountains represent a part of nature yet to be spoiled and will be sure to deliver some amazing sights. I will once again be raising money for the incredible Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, A charity which provides much needed support to those military personnel in active service and our veterans who fought to keep us safe. I hope you can join me in supporting this worthy charity and wishing us the best of luck with the task ahead.
