We support children suffering from cancer to improve their life chances

Story

In July and August 2010, Alex Walker and Liam Kirkwood will be walking the 1000 (and a bit) miles from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats on the North coast of Scotland. The walk is to raise both money and awareness for the Chernobyl Children's Project, a charity whose main goal is to provide humanitarian aid to those who are still feeling the profound effects of the Chernobyl nuclear power-plant disaster. The pair will be relying solely on the generosity of the British public to make the walk possible, and together with a number of fund-raising events aim to raise £3000.
