Story
2015!!! This is the 5th year that we are doing a walk in memory of the amazing lady that was Dianne Manser. Sadly, Dianne lost her battle to cancer in August 2010 and since then, to commemorate Paul and Di's wedding anniversary, we have got together to do one of the things she loved most! Dianne lost her battle in Woking hospice. In the short time that she was there her family got a glimpse of how amazing and needed this non-funded organisation truly is! Woking hospice completely rely on people like us to raise funds so that they can continue to offer the support to people the way they did to us!
We are asking for people to give a minimum donation of £5.00 to take part in our walk.
This year our walk will be held at Virginia water on Saturday the 2st of March. There will be two walks...
A 10 mile brisk walk around the lake and deer park , This one starts at 10am. And a 5 mile walk around the lake which will be great for those with children,/buggies/scooters and the slower walkers .This will start at 10.30am Hopefully we will all finish at similar time. the plan is to meet at the café at the end, have a little catch up and then meet up later that night for some well deserved beers and bubbles!! most of you have been given full details on face book and we will keep you posted on there, if you are not in the world of face book then feel free to call/text me for details. anyone is welcome, young/old/friends/strangers.....
