Story
According to the organisers of this event, "hath no fury like a woman in pink." Hmm. While I'm unsure of the gender stereotyping going on here, Race for Life is a great cause and this year I'm going to do the Cheltenham 10k on the 25th of June.
I am not a runner - I used to do the 1500m on sports day because no one else in my school house could be bothered and each year I got lapped - but I've been working up to this and am 99% confident I won't end up bursting into tears/trying to find a sneaky short cut/getting someone else who looks like me (Yvette Cooper, apparently) to run in my place.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
