St Luke's Hospice Plymouth provides end of life care in Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall. It is the generosity of the caring community and people like you who enable over 300 people and their families at any given time access to this specialist support through the toughest of times.

Story

Following the success of our Three Peaks Challenge back in 2009, a smaller team comprising of three members of staff from Vickery Holman, will be “upping the ante” and attempting to summit the 15 mountains in Wales over 3000 feet within 24 hours.

Alex Sproson, Neil Stubbs and Richard Channing will attempt the challenge in June, the exact date will remain fluid as it is vital the weather is favourable due to the exposed nature of the terrain.

The route comprises an arduous 32 miles of mountain walking across 3 mountain ranges, the challenge officially begins on Snowdon’s summit at dawn and finishes on Foel-Fras, hopefully before it is pitch black some 17 hours later!

The trio, who are currently training for the event at weekends, will be raising money for St Luke’s Hospice
