My mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on 12th September , she is only 68 and at the time of diagnosis she was  fit and healthy  , mum hadn't lost any weight and had no symptoms of this terrible disease . We  were first alerted because mum had painless jaundice . This type of cancer kills 8,000 people a year and is  the 5th biggest killer in the uk with only 3% of people surviving beyond 5 years those stastistics havn't improved for the last 40 years ! This cancer is grossly under funded because it's difficult to treat . My husband Paul has decided to do a parachute jump to raise awareness as November  is pancreatic cancer  awareness month together with other family members and work colleagues of mums.I have choosen to do a 5k run dressed as santa with my sister and some close friends around a park in Manchester on 11th DEC.
