In just under 2 months my 2 friends and I will be taking on the UK's hardest half marathon, with a height gain/loss of 3,000 ft, equivalent to the Scottish Munro.

I never intended to raise any money for Charity as it was purely a personal thing, but I figured why not? I have no real target, even if it's £50, it's an extra £50 that Mountain Rescue will use towards their life saving services.

My Dad was in Mountain Rescue so I know the importance, dedication and the abilities they have. Non of it is Government funded and it's supported via charity, sponsors and grants. The members of Mountain Rescue don't get paid for their services, they own full time jobs during the week, as well as raising families, social lives and training.
