Story
In summer 2008, I walked the entire London underground network, on foot (and above ground!), and on the way I raised money for the Cure Parkinson's Trust. You can find out more about my tubewalk on my website at www.tubewalker.com
I raised money for the Cure Parkinson's Trust for two reasons. First, my mum was diagnosed with Parkinson's last year, and second, I was inspired by the MD of the fundraising arm of the Trust, Tom Isaacs, who does walks even more insane than mine despite having Parkinson's. You can find out more about the charity on my website.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure, and it's the most efficient way to sponsor me: the Cure Parkinson's Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support. I really appreciate it.
