Story
Trinity hospice provides care for their patients 24hours a day. The night staff team ( Trinity's night owls) have got together and set themselves a challenge. To trek the Yorkshire dales 3 peaks. The challenge will be set against the stunning backdrop of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park; the 26 mile walk ascends the three peaks of Pen-Y-Ghent – Whernside – Ingleborough.
The night nurses are a hardworking and dedicated team who provide quality care on the inpatient unit to Palliative and end of life patients. We work from 8.45pm to 7.45 am 365 days of the year.
The hospice relies heavily on public donations and fundraising events. But due to the pandemic the hospice haven't been able to fundraise as it usually would. So we really need and would appreciate your help.
Trinity Hospice is a charity and can only meet the needs of all who need them because of the generous support of the local community. They get just a third of their running costs from the Government (I know I was surprised too) to help run the hospice and services, which means they must fundraise to meet the £8 million they need each and every year.
