Story

On Sunday 22nd July 2012 Bolton plays host to the Ironman UK Triathlon Event. Having been inspired by the challenge some time ago, I finally entered and aim to finish the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26 mile run within the 17 hour qualification time. Although this is a personal goal which I have been working towards for a while, I am keen to raise as much money as possible for this year’s Team JMC selected charity – www.medequip4kids.org.uk. As a company, we have an ambitious fund raising target of £8000 to provide critical paediatric medical equipment and facilities for hospitals and community health teams in the Manchester area. As part of our combined company fundraising activities I would like to make a notable dent in our overall target figure. If you feel generous enough to donate any amount to my worthwhile cause I would be very grateful of your contribution at www.justgiving.com/trimanfish. My race progress on the 22nd July will be broadcast live by my support crew (Karen) via Twitter - @trimanfish. Coverage is also broadcast live on http://ironmanlive.com and covered by Channel 4 a few weeks after the event. Spectator support on the day always welcome!

Many thanks in anticipation of your support; Nick
