We fund brilliant minds and bright ideas to save sight and change lives.

Story

In April 2012 a team of 10 intrepid middle aged men are walking Hadrian's Wall and I'll be part of the team.

Why you may ask?  My friend Kevin's son, Joe Pepper, has a condition called choroideremia which is a rare inherited eye disorder that causes progressive sight loss.  We're raising money to help fund researchers at Imperial College London who are investigating potential treatments for choroideremia.

You can find out more about Joe's condition and about the team doing the Hadrian's Wall walk at www.trekforjoe.blogspot.com and if you want to track how the group's fundraising is going we're at www.justgiving.com/teams/trekforjoe

An easy way to donate is via text.  Just text DAZZ70 followed by the amount i.e. £10 to 70070.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Many thanks for your support it is much appreciated
