I am taking part in Race For Life in memory of my best friends mum who lost her fight with cancer 18 months ago. I still know so many people suffering this terrible disease who are still fighting or who are in remission. I try to do my best as a volunteer for a charity called Look Good Feel Better and once a month I volunteer as an ambassador in teaching the ladies how to use their skincare and theN teach them how to do their make up donated to them by the exclusive companies that give them a unique cosmetics bag as a way of trying to make them feel a little better and look great. 

I recently had my second hip replacement within 18months and will not be able to run this race but will complete it no matter how long it takes by walking the 5k. Having been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis and Elys DanLos Syndrome I know what it feels like to liv with pain constantly but also know that you have to go on no matter what life throws at you.
