Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
It's all over now and I have to say that it was a tremendous experience. But while the cycling is over the fund raising and collecting continues. Please contact me by emailing tony.hay@ipe.com if you are still interested in donating money to New Ways which is doing some terrific work in Kenya (and also in other countries around the world).

Since 1994 New Ways has been working to support health, education, water and agricultural development projects in Africa and South America. Their focus is on projects that are sustainable and provide a basis for the long term development of a community or region, mostly in areas that are particularly remote or deprived.
The aim of the New Ways Kenya Bike Ride in October 2004 is to find 60 people who are willing train for and then complete a tough 250 mile Bike Ride from the slopes of Mount Kenya, across the Equator, to the shores of Lake Victoria, and raise a minimum of £2500 each for their development projects in the Turkana region of Northern Kenya.
IPE has already sponsored me for an initial £1,250 and my personal aim is to raise a further £10,000 - or more ....
Every £50 raised keeps a child at nursery for a year. New Ways' long term aim is to fund 20 nursery schools with a budget of £66,000 per annum.
This Just Giving site enables me to raise money in all currencies from the wide range of people who have had the (mis)fortune to meet me in Europe and the USA.
New Ways and I very much appreciate your support. You can learn more about the New Ways charity by visiting:
