Yes, I know I've done this sort of thing before and should know better, but sometimes I just can't help myself.

I am passionate about improving the lives of children, so having recently been elected parent governor of St James Junior School in Tunbridge Wells, I am really excited to be raising money, by running the London Marathon on Sunday, 22nd April, for one of the school's chosen charities, Demelza Hospice Care for Children www.demelzahouse.org. Demelza is all about "adding life to days when days cannot be added to life", a mission that I'm sure you'll agree could not be much more important if it tried!
