Story

I'm cutting my hair off for charity!! This is a very personal fundraising effort to me for the following story; My brother was recently in a terrible accident, and he had to be taken to The Walton Centre Neuro department  and placed in a medically induced coma. He suffered with a severe brain bleed, torn neck tendons, a fractured cheek, a broken rib and a bruised lung. As a result of his injuries he had to be sedated, a pressure monitor placed in his head, and he had to be put on a ventilator, which was changed to a tracheostomy, due to his bruised lung. Anyone who has seen a loved one like this knows how hard it can be to deal with the situation, and if you haven't I pray you never have to! I am happy to say though my brother is now on the mend and is doing very well for such a short time!! And none of this would have been possible without the amazing doctors and nurses who provided 24 hour, one on one care for him. They have done an amazing job bringing my brother back to me and my family, and have supported us throughout the entire thing. He still has a long way to go with them before he's back to 100% and I'm sure they'll continue to provide him excellent care. So to say thank you I want to raise as much money as I possibly can for them! And if I can get to my goal I will cut my lovely long hair short!! I am also going to donate my hair to the Little Princesses Trust, who make wigs for poorly little boys and girls. http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk Please give generously!
