At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

So, I've decided to put my reputation as 'The Engine' from University on the line and do a marathon while I'm here in Korea...

The reason I'm raising money for Alhzeimer's is that, in 2010, my Grandma passed away after a battle with dementia. So I know, first-hand, how it can affect your family's life- and I feel it's a very worthy cause.

On that note, I'm actually going to be running this race in memory of my Grandma- as a tribute.

So, I urge you to all give generously- as an incentive, I'll donate £100 extra if we reach £500 of donations- and also an extra £50 if I complete the marathon in under 3 hours 20 minutes.

Seriously, anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated....

Thanks

Tom
