In 2010, Bury Hospice launched an appeal to raise the £5million necessary to build a New, Bigger, Better Hospice for the people of Bury. That appeal, despite the economic climate that has dominated since our launch, has been a great success. In September 2011, we began building on site and the build will be complete in December 2012. We will then equip and commission the Hospice and are aiming to open by Easter 2013.

We are now appealing to the people of Bury to contribute to our Together We Can Make it Happen appeal to raise £100,000 to enable us to complete the finishing touches and make the move to our fantastic new Hospice premises.

Our campaign is based on a map showing the landmarks we will pass on our journey to the new Hospice. To achieve our target, each metre of that journey will cost £15.
